Partnered with PosiScan to deliver Pakistan largest initiative of GSM SIM verification using Biometrics Verification System (BVS) for ZONG (China Mobile) and delivered this state of art project with a team of software and firmware developers. This project involved procurement of Suprema BioMini Fingerprint readers, several purposely build specialized Android POS devices and many other components.
Developed a highly scalable Middleware on PHP/MySQL and an integration service for connecting the devices with the SMPP gateway of Telecom Company to enable collection of SMS messages directly. The Android application was also enabled to utilize 3G network as primary communication medium and SMS for the backup communication in order to guarantee the message delivery from remote locations with intermittent or no GPRS connectivity.
