ADGAL was developed to enable a large enterprise to enable their user to access the Active Directory address book and other information via a web application. Users were able to update their contact information (selective) based on assigned rules and permissions. A full audit trail was maintained. This greatly reduced the Help Desk queries merely to update user profiles and other details from across the globe!
